vinco.zone is a transdisciplinary artist and sonic explorer who creates immersive spaces designed to act as portals into alternate realities. These realms—both interior and exterior—invite participants to alienate their positions in society, encouraging them to question their place in the world. By opening environments that disrupt everyday experiences, he invites audiences to reconsider their connection to reality and explore the mysteries of their existence.
Influenced by the urban environments he inhabits, vinco draws from a conceptual perspective, translating it into immersive installations that merge sound, space, and visual elements. His audiovisual practice spans a wide array of media, including experimental video art, hand-drawn animations, music videos, audiovisual scenography and documentaries. His visual work also includes abstract sculptures, masks, costumes, zines, and prints, creating objects that evoke themes of alternate dimensions and speculative futures.
A key focus of vinco’s work is the exploration of artificial intelligence. His research emphasises the importance of collaboration between AI and humans, striving to create machines that enhance our lives without ever replacing our human essence.
vinco currently hosts a monthly radio show in Berlin for 90 mil radio,
titled: ‘ The Cloud Chambers of the Primordial 808’ where he explores abstract sci-fi concepts through sound, featuring national and international artists from various experimental genres.
His residency at Volta.brussels helped shape both his solo musical project and Eskaton 115 an audiovisual rap project created in collaboration with SVDU (Loucka Fiagan).
HADRON is another key project with Rowan van Hoef, a fusion of UK bass culture, and alternative rap aiming to explore and push the boundaries of both music and audiovisual landscapes through sound and visuals. For his latest exhibitions, both Yung Nebula and the OG’s from the 6th Dimension & HYPER.zone vinco focused on building installations with both technology and abandoned objects reclaimed from the urban wasteland, he oftentimes transforms these spaces into collective happenings where guest performers participate.
